Originally opened in 1912, Joliet Union Station was designed by famed railroad architect Jarvis Hunt and constructed with smooth Bedford limestone and intricate interior marble finishes, a testament to the early 20th-century Beaux-Arts style.

Step into The Lounge, the lower-level entry to The Grand Ballroom at Joliet Union Station, where guests are welcomed beneath limestone arches and tall historic windows.
